The Challenge
Ravelo Foods had built strong brand equity in Latin communities, with products stocked in local bodegas and Hispanic grocery stores throughout Florida and New York. However, its digital presence hadn’t kept up with its popularity. The only online footprint was an unmonitored Facebook page, flooded with comments from customers asking where to buy the product.
Without a website, photographic content, or video assets, Ravelo lacked the tools to promote its products, tell its story, or engage new audiences. There was no clear way for consumers to locate stores or for distributors and national retailers to contact Ravelo.
While familiar to existing customers, the packaging didn’t reflect the brand’s cultural roots or stand out on competitive retail shelves. As the company prepared to launch a new production line capable of significantly increasing output, Ravelo needed a full-scale brand and digital transformation to support expanded distribution, improve visibility, and communicate its readiness for national growth.
Marketing Strategy & Positioning
Ravelo had already earned strong brand loyalty in Latin markets, with products commonly found in local Hispanic grocery stores across Florida and bodegas in New York. However, despite strong demand, the brand’s lack of online presence meant it was virtually invisible to new consumers and unreachable to large-scale retailers.
We developed a comprehensive strategy to elevate Ravelo from a beloved regional product to a nationally recognized brand. This included updating the brand identity to better reflect its Cuban heritage, repositioning the company as a family-owned business rooted in tradition but ready to scale.
As part of this strategy, we refreshed the packaging for stronger shelf appeal, retaining the transparent product window that showcased quality while introducing a modern, culturally rich aesthetic. With a new production line set to quadruple capacity, we also targeted big-box retailers by producing a high-quality brand video highlighting Ravelo’s facility, team, and product standards without losing its handcrafted authenticity.
To support both consumer and B2B audiences, we designed a clean, conversion-focused website with tailored messaging for shoppers and distributors alike, cementing Ravelo’s place as a premium Cuban cracker brand ready for national expansion.



Visual Identity & Brand Guidelines

Packaging Design
Our team refreshed the packaging to look clean, modern, and culturally authentic, preserving the transparent window that showcases the product’s handmade quality. We introduced rich colors and refined layouts that elevate the brand while maintaining the warmth and familiarity beloved by longtime customers.

Logo Design
We redesigned the Ravelo logo to strike a perfect balance between heritage and shelf impact. The new wordmark features bold, easy-to-read typography with subtle traditional cues, ensuring visibility both online and in-store. Designed with competitive packaging in mind, it stands out on crowded shelves while staying true to the brand’s Cuban roots.


Brand Guidelines
To support future growth, we developed a complete brand guide including usage rules for logos, colors, fonts, and imagery. This ensured Ravelo’s updated identity remained consistent across digital and print, and reinforced a sense of brand reliability and professionalism.

UX Design & Wireframing
We developed wireframes with persona-specific pathways for both consumers and distributors. Each layout included strategically placed calls-to-action, bilingual-ready content blocks, and cultural storytelling elements to guide engagement. Page flow was optimized to reduce friction, streamline product discovery, and drive inquiries or purchases based on user intent.

WEBSITE DESIGN
UI Design
The UI incorporated a refined color palette rooted in Latin tradition, paired with custom typefaces for clarity and brand recognition. We integrated smooth motion effects and microinteractions that honored cultural elements while enhancing usability. The interface was designed to feel approachable, premium, and distinctly Ravelo across all touchpoints.


Development
We engineered the website using a lightweight, mobile-first architecture with fast-loading assets and minimal dependencies. Features included responsive design, optimized hover states, embedded branded video, and custom font handling. Development focused on maintaining accessibility, maximizing SEO performance, and delivering a consistent, high-fidelity experience across devices and screen sizes.





Product Photography
We executed a controlled product photography session to capture high-resolution images of Ravelo’s packaging, product texture, and shelf presence. Photos were formatted for e-commerce, print, and promotional use, ensuring consistency across marketing channels while highlighting quality and authenticity in a way that supports both retail and distributor engagement.

Corporate Videography
Our team produced a full-length brand video documenting Ravelo’s manufacturing process from baking to packaging. Using cinematic, stabilized footage and on-site audio, we emphasized production scale, team culture, and food quality. The final cut was optimized for web and presentations, supporting distributor outreach and enhancing consumer trust.
Digital Marketing
Search Engine Optimization Campaign
We launched a location-targeted SEO campaign focused on ranking for high-intent queries like “Cuban crackers,” optimizing metadata, structured content, and creating backlink opportunities. Additionally, Ravelo’s Google Business Profile was enhanced to dominate branded searches, leading to #1 rankings across Florida and a significant increase in organic discovery and distributor inquiries.

Their Google Business Profile consistently appears in the top local results, and the newly launched website has generated hundreds of inbound distributor inquiries from major retailers and regional buyers. With a revitalized identity, compelling brand story, and scalable digital presence, Ravelo is now positioned as a market leader in Latin-inspired packaged foods and continues to grow as a household name in the category.
