United Against Poverty is a nonprofit organization that focuses on providing crisis care, case management, transformative education, food and household subsidy, employment training and placement, personal empowerment training and active referrals to other collaborative social service providers.
United Against Poverty needed to jump start their rebranding efforts, in particular their image on the web. They tasked us with unifying their overall brand image throughout the locational websites we were to develop while portraying each organization’s identity entirely separate from the others. Therefore, we designed a central website that routed to each individual location. From there, we built locational websites for each sub-organization that utilized consistent brand colors and logo attributes with subtle differences to create unique identities. We developed a standard navigation menu for each location’s website that showcased their services and included SEO content within each landing page, targeting keywords that potential donors might type when researching how to give back to their community.To allow for content to be modified, a custom event system was instated that allowed for easy editing on the back-end by members of their staff. Additionally, a customized online donation form was developed to accept custom donation amounts while having the ability to recur monthly if that was the option the user chose. Finally, a custom employee system was created to allow members of UAP’s staff to make edits, such as, placing photos, contact info, and bios.
